CIEDA's Purpose
CIEDA's purpose as delegated by the Tribal Council is to promote and protect the welfare of the Tribe by creating employment, business ownership and economic growth opportunities with the goal of consistently raising revenue and the economic stability for the Tribe. CIEDA also oversees Tribal Enterprises and executes the business activities as delegated by Tribal Council.
From its inception, CIE has worked to establish, promote and/or manage Tribal enterprises at the direction of the Board of Directors and Tribal Council to achieve:
- A reasonable return on investment
- Creation of jobs for Tribal Members
- Economic entrepreneurship for the Tribal Community
- A higher standard of living for the Tribal Community
