Diner of Distinction
As a true testament to the Creek Travel Plaza's Diner commitment to quality food service and best restaurant management practices, Sysco, a leading national food distributor, just selected the Diner as one of their 2017 Distinguished Restaurants.
Annually, Sysco recognizes independently owned food service establishments who continually offer outstanding dining experiences that appeal to a wide variety of North American customers. This is the first time that the Diner has received this distinction.
"It is a real pleasure to see the hard work of manager Candy Stucky and the entire Diner team be acknowledged by a national food service company like Sysco," Retail Sales Director, Leo Hammons said.
"At Creek Travel Plaza we are well aware of how great the staff is at the Diner," CTP General Manager Tammy Smith said. "It's refreshing to know others agree that the Diner is delivering great food and great service."
This year, the Diner began staying open 24 hours a day to better serve the community, truckers and travelers.
"We knew we were doing a good job because we really do care about making sure our guests are happy with their experience here, and we know this is why our customers come back. However, we didn't expect Sysco to choose us as a Distinguished Restaurant, it is truly an honor," commented Diner Manager, Candy Stucky.
